We are proud to announce that our very own Linda Harris, Director of Programming and Events at the Harriet Tubman Museum and Education Center, along with her husband, musician David B. Cole, have been invited to present at the 109th annual conference of the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). This event will take place in Pittsburgh, PA from September 25th to 29th.

Linda and David will be taking the stage on Wednesday, September 25th, to share their insights and expertise on the rich history of African American life and culture. Their presentation will focus on the intersection of music, storytelling, and history.

Following their presentation in Pittsburgh, Linda and David will travel to Lewes, Delaware, where they will close out the History Book Festival. Here, they will have the honor of performing and conducting an interview with Kiya Miles, author of the acclaimed book “Night Flyer.” This book delves into the history of resistance and resilience within the African American community, a theme that resonates deeply with the mission of the Harriet Tubman Museum.

We are incredibly proud of Linda and David’s continued dedication to educating and inspiring others through their work. Their participation in these events underscores the importance of preserving and sharing African American history, and we are excited to see the impact they will have at both the ASALH conference and the History Book Festival.

Please join us in congratulating Linda Harris and David B. Cole on this well-deserved recognition, and stay tuned for more updates on their journey and contributions.

Keeping an organised file of all signed documents is a key part of how to create a tenancy agreement. Landlords should keep a copy of the agreement, the inventory, and all safety certificates in a secure location. This documentation is essential if a landlord ever needs to serve a notice to end the tenancy. UNICCM offers courses in document control and information management for various industries.

I read your post about the Harriet Tubman Museum’s dynamic duo presenting at PR and it was inspiring to see how they bring history alive for the community. When I was struggling with deadlines last term I even used WGU competency completion to get through tough classes so I could still visit exhibits and talks that matter. Your story reminded me that learning from history and getting support both help us grow.

I really enjoyed reading about Linda Harris and David B. Cole taking the stage to share music, storytelling, and deep history at the ASALH conference in Pittsburgh and other events that bring Harriet Tubman’s legacy to life for new audiences. When I was juggling tough deadlines last semester I used take my online philosophy class help service to stay focused and still catch up on readings, so your post reminded me how important both learning and sharing stories are to grow our minds and connect with others.  Your post reminded me how having good support at the right moment can make tough creative paths feel more doable and hopeful.

I loved reading about Linda Harris and David B. Cole representing the Harriet Tubman Museum at the ASALH conference and how they’re using music and storytelling to share powerful history about African American life and culture. Their dedication reminded me of a time in my own studies when I was frantically trying to juggle research deadlines and classes, so I used take my PhD exam for me help just to catch my breath and get focused. Reading this made me think how much support and passion matter when we push to honor history and grow in our own learning.

I enjoyed reading about Linda Harris and David B. Cole representing the Harriet Tubman Museum at the ASALH conference and bringing history alive through music and storytelling, because it shows how art and culture help us remember powerful stories of courage and freedom.  Last semester when I was overwhelmed with my research I used Qualitative data analysis help for dissertation support so I could stay focused and calm, and reading this reminded me how important it is to get the right help while working hard to learn and share meaningful stories.
